Reichard’s is situated in charming St. Jacob’s, in the heart of Waterloo County, home of the Mennonite community. Since 1924, Reichard’s has served quilters’ needs throughout the area and will continue to do so in our this home after so many years in Elmira.
The number of “quilt shops” have grown throughout North America to match the increased interest in quilting. This begs the question “Why choose Reichard’s?” Most shops develop a specific character – often reflecting the owner’s personal tastes. At Reichard’s we pride ourselves in our ability for colour selection. To look at a pattern and decide what fabrics will best suit – brilliant contrasts, subtle tone shifts, warm/cool combinations, these are the skills we have honed with years of experience. Our fabric buying (100% cottons) is tailored to the popular patterns of today.
