Thread Painting 1
Whether you want to create an entire picture by thread painting, or to use thread painting to enhance your quilts, this class will teach you the techniques. It is great fun to do and easy to learn. All you need is a machine that can do straight and zigzag stitches, and whose feed dogs can be dropped or covered. During the class, you will learn how to fill in shapes with thread painting; how to “draw” flowers, landscape lines, etc.; and how to use stabilizers to keep your design flat. We will then thread paint a small scene which incorporates these techniques.
